The Arkwrights is a six-member Chichester based Indie/Power Pop band featuring Ben Arkwright on guitar and vocals, Rob 'Beer Bear' Dunne on guitar, bassist Robbie Collins, Josh Nunn on drums, and backing singers Susie Hargreaves and Adele Hendry. Initially formed just over 12 months ago as a side project for a one off gig, the reception and the ensuing demand for The Arkwrights has been uncompromising.
This band are loud, sexy, and full of energy. Powerful, vibrant performances and a truly massive stage presence have earned some fanatical interest and respect from a growing army of followers, including Top 10 band The Kooks. Their tight, exciting, dynamic sound grabs the audience by the scruff of the neck, and this has drawn the attention of a wide range of media producers and companies including Currys and Merecedes-Benz who have used Arkwrights tracks in demos and advertising.
With growing interest from radio stations, producers and promoters alike, The Arkwrights have created a buzz, and clearly have a great future ahead of them.

Following our appearances at last years' Wedgewood Rooms Showcase gigs, we were featured on Radio One, (a live version of 47's). Currys Stores and Currys Digital have used 'Hugo, I go to the Disco' as one of the demo tracks, and we also signed a deal with Mercedes-Benz for 'Fires (Radio Edit)' to be included on their 'mixed-tape' compilation CD, available on line (see links), in advertising, and to buyers of any new Mercedes-Benz car worldwide.
